The plot is based on the personal interpretation of the Apocalypse of John and the revelations of Christ in the four Gospels, taking into account the available evidence there.
One of the main pillars of the novel is the statement that Jesus makes in front of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, when he says that they will not see him until his people recognize the true Messiah (Matthew 23.37) “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, The City That kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! See, your house is left to you, desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, «Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.»
Therefore, the plot takes place mainly around that idea, considering that wars and natural disasters also prophesied, in the future world, take on a new dimension.
Another revelation of Jesus, basic here, is indicating that one of the apostles, the beloved, not die, so it will live to see the end of time. In the Gospel of John are several mentions a disciple whom “Jesus loved”, never reveal his real name. Mary is that chosen in the trilogy. (John 21, 23 ) : “So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”
In summary , the anonymous apostle with a special relationship with Christ, as the «beloved» that nobody discovers his identity in the Gospels , here is Mary, across who there will fulfill what Jesus insinuated, that,» it will live until his return», inside a frame of power, propitiated in order that the God’s plans are fulfilled.
RESUMEN TRILOGÍA
La trama está fundamentada, en la interpretación personal del apocalipsis según San Juan y las revelaciones de Cristo en los cuatro evangelios, teniendo en cuenta los testimonios allí existentes.
Uno de los pilares principales de la novela, es la declaración que hace Jesús frente al templo Judío de Jerusalén, cuando asegura que no volverán a verle, hasta que su pueblo reconozca al verdadero Mesías; (Mateo 23,37) » ¡Jerusalén, Jerusalén, que matas a los profetas y apedreas a los que se te envían! ¡Cuántas veces quise reunir a tus hijos, como reúne la gallina a sus pollitos debajo de sus alas, pero no quisiste! 38 Pues bien, vuestra casa va a quedar abandonada. 39 Y os advierto que ya no volveréis a verme hasta que digáis: “¡Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor!»
Por ello la obra se desarrolla, principalmente, en torno a esa idea, teniendo en cuenta que las guerras y los desastres naturales también profetizados, en el mundo futuro, adquirirán una nueva dimensión.
Otra revelación de Jesús, aquí básica, es la que indica, que uno de los apóstoles, el amado, no morirá, por lo que vivirá para ver el término de los tiempos. En el Evangelio de San Juan se hacen diversas menciones a un discípulo, a quien “Jesús amaba”, sin desvelar nunca su verdadero nombre. María es esa elegida en la trilogía. (Juan 21, 23): “Por eso el dicho se propagó entre los hermanos que aquel discípulo no moriría; pero Jesús no le dijo que no moriría, sino: Si yo quiero que se quede hasta que yo venga, ¿a ti, qué?”
En resumen, el anónimo apóstol, con una relación especial con Cristo, al ser el “amado” del que nadie descubre su identidad en los evangelios, aquí es María, a través del cual se cumplirá lo que Jesús insinuó, “que viviese hasta su vuelta”, dentro de un marco de poder, propiciado para que los planes de Dios, se cumplan.
